Ich hab über die Jahre immer wieder spontane Ohrwürmer von Melodien der #JupiterAscending-Filmmusik von #MichaelGiacchino und muss dann minutenlang überlegen, woraus ich diese Musik denn nun wieder kenne. Der Film mag kein genredefinierendes Ereignis gewesen sein, aber diese Partitur ist eine Meisterleistung.

Das Ende von "1st Movement" ist einer der erhabensten Streichermomente, die ich kenne:

For the final #Spacetober prompt “Future” my linocut is a space travel poster for a future where we all share the citizenship of Earth and can take rapid transport to Europa, one of Jupiter's moons, known as the Galilean Moons for Galileo, who first observed them with a telescope.

Europa, Jupiter's smallest moon is considered one of the most likely locations in the Solar System for potential habitability.

As described, my linocut is a space travel poster for a future where we all share the citizenship of Earth and can take rapid transport to Europa, one of Jupiter's moons, known as the Galilean Moons (named after Galileo, who first observed them with a telescope. There’s a view of a section of Jupiter with big red spot and its moon Europa. Text reads “Take the Europa Express, your passport to the Galilean Moons.” There’s a hand holding a blue passport with a ticket in it. The passport has a stylized image of Earth with the symbol for Earth and the words “Earth Passport” on it. Each print is burnished by hand onto lovely Japanese kozo (or mulberry) paper in a creamy ivory colour, 8" x 10" (or 20.3 cm by 25.4 cm).
