Knowing #Kes broke up with #Neelix at some point prior to #Darkling, the way she sort of glanced at Neelix when she was freed in #Warlord and didn't return his embrace - that sort of indicated to me that they weren't getting back together when I saw it a few days ago.

P.S. I really like the way #RobertPicardo changed his posture and stuck his jaw out in a permanent sneer to create a sort of cruder, more physically imposing version of The Doctor.

#AllStarTrek The Doctor can be a bit of a dismissive jerk when dealing with other people's interests. Kes really wants The Doctor, her mentor, to meet her new crush Zahir, and The Doctor is like, "He sounds silly."
Has #Kes always been in a form fitting one piece outfit? (P.S. I reviewed some of the earlier episode screenshots and, nope, I think the writers were trying to change her image.

@MirrorAyako @allstartrek #Darkling always struck me as an overgrown drama portfolio piece for Robert Picardo. There's no real story to the episode other than showing off Picardo's acting range and, honestly, other EMH-centric episodes (e.g. "Latent Image" and "Author Author") do a better job of that than this offering.

I find it totally unsatisfactory and unsatisfying that we learn of Kes and Neelix’s break up in this episode and as an afterthought.
