I still have WIP I want to finish.
I dreamed crazy stuff last night.
One was parts of a now recurring dream about a serial killer. Possibly brought on by watching #daredevil
The other - I kept falling asleep in weird places. But no one seemed to mind. But I couldn't wake up and get myself out of that place. That one I think is worth thinking about.
Finishing up the rest of the new Daredevil: Born Again episodes. Damn, they're good. I'm not into a TON of comic stuff but Daredevil is always an exception. One of my favorite things.
I'm glad to see #TheStudio is as good as everyone says.
Feels like we're spoiled for good #television at the moment, what with that and #1923, #WhiteLotus, #Daredevil, #Adolescence and #Severance.
Plus #HighPotential was pretty fun, #ChessMasters is back on the BBC, #WheelOfTime somehow keeps getting renewed, and the US version of #HIGNFY #haveIGotNewsForYou has started to get better.
Lili Taylor will join Season 2 of Marvel's "Daredevil: Born Again" in a recurring role that may be a political foe for Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk. Production is currently underway in New York.

I am having a hell of a days-after fridge logic moment, but... Is Daredevil Born Again trying to make a point that the best defense New Yorkers have against Kigpin are... the superwealthy elites? It sure looks like it.
I haven't posted about it, but I've been really enjoying #Daredevil. Fisk and Matt are such wonderful foils for each other, and the parallels between them this season have been so well done. Not subtle, but then neither of these characters are subtle.

#Daredevil Born Again episode 5 is my favorite thing #MCU has done in ages. A standalone episode of a hero overcoming obstacles to do some good, no multiverse needed
Daredevil: Born Again moves from strength to strength with tonight's double episode. More integration into the MCU was great (especially when it comes from my favorite MCU dad), it has dialed back the thin blue line rhetoric (the NYPD is now incompetent and/or corrupt), but the show's treatment of superheroes is still kind of awkward in comparison to the rest of the MCU.
Daredevil: Spoiler Free Review
First off, I promise I am not going to just cross post crap from bluesky to this page (assuming I don’t delete this account outright, which I am still seriously thinking about). I might do that once in a while, but twice in one day? Come on, Rob. Don’t be a lazy asshole.
Still, in this case… I just watched the two episodes of Daredevil that Disney+ gave us today (Born Again season one episodes five and six, I think) and I wrote a detailed, in-depth spoiler free review over on the bluesky and thought I’d just cross post it here just this once so that I wouldn’t have to type it all out again and yadda yadda blah.
