The garden bloomed into a fluttering ballroom as the light-footed cat pranced between flowers, joining the butterflies' joyful parade.

Here's the fifth in a series of 12 themed cross stitch tracker patterns! This one is for May.

I'm also including it as just a regular old pattern as pictured if you like it just the way it is and don't want to track anything.

I finished my little car!
I made a small change to the pattern by making the spokes of the wheels black and yellow instead of just yellow as the pattern dictates, because I didn't like the look of it.

Either way I'm sure dad will like it, because he likes cars and will appreciate the effort I put into making it.

That has been a day of stitching and damn, it felt good.

I'm up to date now on the Floral Hexagon SAL by Carolyn Manning for Lakeside Needlecraft.

I definitely need to get out the house for a bit tomorrow and get moving, I have totally seized up after stitching all day 😂

Right, to the stitching I go. Lets see if I can finish the half stitched hexagon and make a start on the other.

Ok, back now to post the last #CrossStitch I have pictures of finished. Might post progress pics here in the future. Anyway, this is one I made for my mother for Christmas. I had started a HUGE tree of life one a year+ ago for her but haven’t made much progress because it’s huge and overwhelming, so I made her a little one to start. Flower and letter patterns are from HappySloth on Etsy.

This was a project I did for a work thing. I used to work in an art library and our art librarian decided to set up a “Little Free Art Library”, which is like a Little free library, but instead of books you put mini art in. The art students loved it, and my little cross stitch went pretty quick! I’m not sure if this is the final picture because looking at it the final “R” of “Queer” doesn’t look like an R? But that may be the font I chose. I used two patterns from HappySloth on Etsy. #CrossStitch

This was my second project, which I did for myself. I’m a librarian so I had it hanging in my office while I still had one. Have since lost track of it which makes me very sad as I loved this pattern. Learning to do French knots and “sparkles” and back stitch was so cool! #CrossStitch

This was my first ever #crossstitch project. I got a kit on Etsy (don’t remember the seller anymore sorry) and did it pretty quickly because it’s pretty small. Gave it to my platonic partner as a gift because I wanted her to have my first one.
