Amazing mid-#60s #garage #rocknroll from the Pacific Northwest’s Wailers. This album is so fucking good, and so infectious.
I first heard them in my early teens on some local oldies/classic rock station, driving to Rocky Point amusement park.
LOVE the look of that Etiquette Records label too (the band’s own label)!

In the mid to late #60s Perk Badger first attempted recording this song, which came out very lo-fi, with a garage-y roughness.
A few years later, he re-recorded it; with more brightness & a FAT bottom end, which is the version here.

It then appeared on Numero’s Eccentric Soul Outskirts of Deep City, & then in a Nike ad.
Such a great, funky #soul number.
