@I_Choose_Exile@mastodon.social I was 4th generation on my mom's side. My dad was a convert in the early 70's but was perpetually getting df and reinstated. I was a crappy JW. The Bible never made much sense to me. I learned to read at 3 and ended up thinking way too much. I left shortly after turning 18 when I looked around my hall at my congregation and realized I'd rather eat glass than live with those people one more second. Forever with the lot of them sounded like a curse. I never regretted it.
