I made this altar in gratitude this morning. To connect to my beloved earth, share energy back to her. Fallen birch sticks, rowan, ivy, fern, sycamore, and birch polypore. Also some mushroom friends watched from the sidelines. 💚 Made with love, left behind, honouring impermanence.

A large circle of mostly dead birch branches laid on the woodland floor. Dried leaves have been put outside the circle, making the inside darker, bare earth. I’ve placed smaller “pointy” leaves of fern and rowan in a sort of sunburst shape around a centre of large round leaves (sycamore). There is some white fungus at the very centre, and three yellowed ivy leaves around that.
