Look at this stunning beauty I rescued from the stone tower today at the Fells’ forest!
Here’s the grasshopper’s story.
For the first time, we found the door to Wright’s Tower open, so we went up (only one flight up). The view was wonderful.
I noticed this beauty on the stone sill. I was trying to take a good pic of her and she hopped on me twice. I took that as she was trying to get a lift down to the ground. So I took her in my hand, and released her on some wild plants.
#Insects are aware of us and their surroundings more than we give them credit. I often feel some connection when they’re near me. Even mosquitos. (I’m serious. Once, I had a male mosquito by the indoor plant shelf, and I let him live out his life there, because it was winter. Male mosquitos are pollinators, and they don’t suck blood.)
