The first sunflower opened yesterday! If you look close, there’s a bumblebee on the top of the flower. 🌻✨🐝💚

A very tall, dark amber colored sunflower with yellow outer edge, soaring to get the sun in the tree shade. There’s a speckled whitish ring in the middle of the flower, and the center is dark. It’s growing in the big pot in front of the south facing wall of the house. I took the photo, pointing up, and you can see a little blue sky beyond the tree branches and green, yellow, and blue houses. It has big alternating spade-shaped leaves. Gorgeous plant!
