Not sure if anyone doesn’t already know this, but I just found out yesterday and I’m super excited. If any blind players have been sleeping on #StardewValley, now would be a good time to update your mods, especially #StardewAccess
It’s not perfect and still needs work, but when creating a new farm, some character customization options do work, such as skin tone; hairstyle, accessories, and outfit options. Also, you get a small description of pet breed options.
Make sure you have the latest version of Stardew Access, and when you load the new farm screen, you will be prompted to press control plus space to show or hide character customization options. Once you do so, just use left and right arrow as normal to navigate the screen. I was so happy to finally have some freedom in designing my character.
Like I said, I’m a little late to the party on this one, but I figured I would make the post because I figured it out by happy accident, and I haven’t heard anyone else mention it. Just thought I’d try and help. #GoodMorning #StardewAccess
