Had to walk out and leave a family night due to my parents and relatives spewing hatred about LGBTQIA+. Specifically trans. I almost threw up. The hypocrisy of hating things, and saying it's for God kills me. And knowing that people I love and looked up to believe in such hatred is just.. devastating. My faith has been deconstructing quietly, and they are the driving force behind it.. just .. a very disheartening and discouraging night.
