The perfection line was great while it lasted, but we are not good this year. I'm glad the team hit the reset button. It's time to move on. I hope they find a good coach this offseason. Can't afford to waste any more of Pasta's best years.
@brewinman I don't disagree. But the return for Marchand is not good. I think that is part of what is so shocking. It was a lot of big players in a very short period of time.
The Marchand trade surprised me too. But I think Florida is only renting him to the end of this season. That's why the return was so low. Sean McIndoe (Athletic Hockey Show) floated the idea that the Bruins would trade him and have him re-sign with them next season when he is a free agent. Strange but may end up being true.
@brewinman I see that floated around a lot. It feels unlikely. It would be a great story but my guess is they are too far away and will not be able to come to an agreement. 32 Thoughts essentially said the same thing today.
