The yellow Lantana in the background flowers all summer, so some annuals like orange Marigolds are perfect. This year, I grew from seed Park Seed's Fireball Marigolds. (Not hard.) The flowers change color from light orange to dark orange so there is a mix of colors all the time. A few of these around the Lantana produced a high-impact corner bed.
@joewynne I grew those Fireballs this year. The colour changes are fantastic. I had gazanias also changing colour nearby, so at times it looked like a gorgeous 1970s whirl of yellows, oranges and reds
