Check out this cool solar-powered Aptera EV that supposedly gets 1,600 km on a single charge. The solar panels integrated into its design can add an extra 64 km of power a day, leading the company to claim that some users may never even have to charge it. 
The company apparently has 44,000 pre-orders for the vehicle, which they hope to start delivering by the end of the year. The base model costs US$25,900 – which doesn't seem insane to me?
