According to this report, 10% of all vehicles sold in Canada Q2 were either battery-electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. That's nothing close to Norway's 79% electric vehicles sold last year – but still nearly double the percentage of electric vehicles that were sold in Canada only two years ago in 2021.

(Also: it's interesting to see that 1 in 5 cars sold in BC Q1 were EV!)
