But in #Canada we have successfully searched landfills for human remains in the recent past. These are just a few of those stories:

The #Conservative government has a duty to search, but they're too #racist and #bigoted to begin it.
They aren't #comparable.
The #remains of the two Indigenous women are, firstly, not even certain to be in the #landfill; they're merely suspected to be there. Second, if they are there, they've been there quite some time, and are therefore significantly deeper, which does make #excavating much more #dangerous. Third, they don't know with any degree of #certainty which section of the landfill would contain them.
It's dangerous, impractical, and expensive. But a nice story.
@cazabon You can take your racism elsewhere. Cops spent 3 months searching a southern Ontario landfill for one old white man. You just don't want Indigenous people being treated with respect.
