I'm #tired of seeing #people ask about #privacy on the net with #questions like "How do I stop X from #collecting my information?", and then seeing #responses like "Why? Do you have a #tinfoil hat?" and "It's only Y information, don't worry about it" and "Their #privacy #policy says they only do A, B, and C with it, it's fine".

People do not need a #reason to want their #information not to be #collected and #used by others. Especially not one you agree with.

Let's #normalize this #principle.
