So... we have a provincial , with more than 10% of the population working for the government and its various agencies.

We have a high personal rate, as well as corporate tax rate.

We have government-owned crown corps for electricity, gas, telecommunications, liquor distribution (and until recently, retail sales!).

We have hugely expensive public and .

But we're "right wing".

Everything is relative, I guess.
