This fellow took an afternoon-long snooze in the lawn because of the heat; it was 32C here at the time, and the humidex was 38. Nobunny wants to be hopping around in a fur coat in those conditions.

Apologies for the blur; this was shot through foliage (and a dirty window...).

A jackrabbit - which is actually a hare despite the name, and in this case likely a white-tailed jackrabbit - is seen snoozing in the middle of a green lawn. Its eyes are narrowed to slits, its ears are erect to detect approaching predators, and it lists to one side in the heat.
