To those who need this app: Menus For All was apparently able to secure new contracts with their vendors after all. So the app will not be going away. I don’t use this but as there was a lot of talk around this I thought I’d let my blind followers know as this app seems to be strangely popular and there seemed to be much upset when they announced the service was going away. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/menus4all-restaurant-menus/id1640547801?platform=iphone
@amy0223 @payown I use it every day and especially every time I’m in a new section of Montreal that I’ve not been to before or haven’t been to in a long time. I also use it when I’m in a new area outside of Montreal to check out what restaurants are around me it’s very convenient to use and very accessible.
@Montrealmarc @payown I was just sharing information. I've yet to find the need for such an app. But peple seem to really love it; saving for Android users as they've apparently not seen fit to develop that yet. I hope they don't feel like the blind population doesn't need it because android's not being used. That's an inaccurate assumption; though I know that developing for Android takes skill they may not have or be able to afford.
