Richie
Half an hour of meditation helped. I often forget to do that, then I always say the same thing, 'I must do that more often...' Then the next time I get worked up, I've forgotten again.

If only I could get a routine to stick

Richie
You'd think that the longer you'd been alive, the easier life would get.

I'm tired and have no energy left to fight.

Richie
Hmm. I don't think they did my cancer screening on Monday. According to what I've since found out, they're checking other stuff such as liver function etc. I need a separate kit from somewhere else. Oh well

Richie
As Monday approaches, I feel weirdly calm.

I've no idea when I'll get the results, and that's the part that I'm avoiding thinking about.

It could be something simple such as a food allergy. I'll keep that in mind, because cancer is what happens to someone else... that's how it always felt until now.

Richie
Trying out Steam for the first time. After having to change the language of the UI in RegEdit, I'm going around in circles. How do I add a game? Not finding a search option in the Windows installed thing

Richie
Easy Tomato Sauce for Pizza:

I use a microplane to process my garlic. No more getting stuck in a press, and it only takes seconds.

1. Top and tail 2 cloves of garlic, peel then finely chop or microplane into a cold saucepan with 1 tablespoon of olive or avocado oil.
2. Fire up the heat under the saucepan for 3 or 4 minutes until the kitchen smells like an Italian restaurant.
3. Pour in 400g of good quality passata. Alternatively, blend the contents of a 400g can of chopped tomatoes.
4. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
