Okay so if I grasp this correctly, Ryan Reynolds has basically bought the rights to ALF (?) and he’s now bringing re-runs of the show to some channel of his. More importantly though, he has also produced new commercials that feature ALF - and a guy named Eric, who bears a resemblance to Max Wright and also uses a lot of Willie Tanner’s mannerisms. I guess he’s Eric, the baby the Tanners have in the later seasons of the original show!

This is really amazing - those commercials were definitely made by someone who loves ALF and wanted to show what he’s up to now. It really warms my nostalgic (and otherwise ice cold) heart that ALF is now living with Eric Tanner. This is how it should be. I love happiness like this. Right in the nostalgia feels. ❤️ Also, I’m not kidding when I say the mannerisms are there. Like father, like son.
