I recently re-watched my ALF DVDs... and I still laugh at the jokes even though I know most of the episodes by heart. If I had to name an absolute comfort show, it would be ALF. I practically grew up with this show, like a lot of Germans my age did. (It was SUPER popular here. I remember merch being everywhere. @Nates1984 Same! The humor is timeless somehow. The show is VERY 80s, of course, but the humor still works for the most part.

@Nates1984 I LOVED that show! Even my mother loved it - and we usually had a very "we are polar opposites" taste when it came to television! (Case in point: She couldn't stand ALF.) But Dinosaurs? That show worked for both of us. NOT THE MAMA!
