@Kozmo The moderates only want a moderate amount of moderation. The conservatives want to moderate this process to conserve their profits.
Unless it's stuff their values are built on. Then they need to force their beliefs on eveybody. This is why they want to ban abortions (so the poor get poorer) and not guns (so the rich get richer and the poor die faster).
(Okay, fine. It's all about money.)
