I shopped at Jewel tonight, just because it's closer to my house and I was in a hurry.
Albertson/Jewel pricing is so ridiculous. We should all send the judge that blocked the Kroger merger a holiday gift.

@paulinaashland Mariano's and Kroger still have respectable sales. I also will shop the expiring stuff in the store, it usually has at least week left. Nothing risky of course. : )
Also, we do Aldi and Trader Joes. Produce wise fresh market and a local store we have here are much more reasonable.

@paulinaashland They've got some decent stuff. They are owned by the same company as Trader Joe's, so we have deemed it "Cheap Trader Joe's."
