@BeckyWerner While I would love the Youth vote to come in and clear out all the rubbish politicians and enact real change, they’re just not really reliable. You can get lukewarm youth turnout if you have a dedicated celebrity get-out-the-vote campaign or a particularly charismatic, tech-savvy candidate, but otherwise they’re as likely to vote for Oscar the Grouch as a joke candidate as they are to vote for a serious candidate. They’re not consistently dependable.
